Rambo First Blood Part II Summary. After being freed from jail, John Rambo is sent on a top-secret clandestine operation to the jungles of Vietnam, which is the (now updated) last place on Earth he would want to be.
In order to keep the fans from seeing their favorite character die, the sequel ditched him in favor of a full-blown action movie. He learns a valuable lesson about life as he goes back to Vietnam to free prisoners of war. It's mostly about how to blow something up.
